Our story begins in West Africa, where culture, resilience, and tradition shape not only how we live, but how we nourish and care for ourselves. From that foundation, Global Palate has grown through journeys across the world—guided by curiosity, respect, and a desire to experience cultures firsthand.
We travel to immerse ourselves in how people eat, create, and care. Each place we encounter becomes part of our story—not to be replicated, but to be thoughtfully reinterpreted through a distinctly Liberian lens. It is through this lens that global inspiration becomes something personal, something refined, and something entirely our own.

A Note from Our Founder
Care, to me, has always been both clinical and deeply personal.
As a nurse practitioner, I have seen firsthand the profound impact that thoughtful, intentional care can have, not only on individuals, but on entire communities.
Long before my clinical training, my understanding of care began in quieter ways—through an innate understanding of quality, a keen attention to detail, and a tendency to approach every situation with excellence.
Those qualities followed me into motherhood, where care became essential. I became intentional about everything that touched my children’s skin, their hair, and their health—seeking products that were gentle, effective, and aligned with purpose. At the same time, I found my own needs often unmet, navigating dry skin and textured hair with limited options designed with us in mind.
At the table, and in life, I was also shaped by a journey across cultures. Traveling and experiencing the world revealed how deeply food, ritual, and care are connected to identity. Yet, no matter where I went, I found myself returning to the same question: what does this look like through a Liberian lens?
Global Palate was created at the intersection of those experiences—where heritage, exploration, and care come together.
Through The Liberian Epicure, I share the story of culture through flavor—reimagining global cuisines in a way that honors where I come from.
Through Savannah Botanicals, I extend that same intention to personal care—creating products that nourish, restore, and respect the unique needs of melanin-rich skin and textured hair.
What we create is based on something greater; a belief that our blessings should change our community in a way that creates positive generational impact.
That belief is why a portion of our work supports the education of women and girls in Liberia who are pursuing careers in medicine and health sciences.
Global Palate is my way of transforming everything I have learned into something that can be shared-a medium to pay it forward.
